Suggestions for Handling Stress
- Prayer. If you’re not engaged in this one, don’t attempt any of the others. They’ll make you trust in yourself or they’ll make you fat.
- Meditate on God’s Word, looking for specific promises in your specific situation.
- Work to resolve situations.
- Exercise. Regularly.
- Eat ice cream. In moderation, of course 🙂
- Take a break, or help someone else take a break.
- Serve someone.
- Encourage someone.
Are the Browns Changed?
- After the Browns’ first loss against Pittsburgh, I wrote that they were like the counseling situation that did everything in regard to change – except change.
- Well, yesterday the Browns thumped the Steelers.
- This begs the question: are they really changed?
- They did win the game with many backups. That’s what real teams do.
- They did win the game with a repeatable pattern – run first then pass. That’s what many real teams do.
- They did win the game with smart QB play. That’s what real teams do.
- They did win the game by taking advantage of the opponents’ mistakes. That’s what real teams do.
- As of now, it looks good. We’ll see how the season plays out!
