Rambling today about three good things:
- Good thing #1: I’m alive! And so are you, if you can see this.
- Life means creation. Life means a special opportunity to make the most of the opportunity we have.
- Life means giving glory to God – even for the really dark times and seasons.
- Good thing #2: Our daughter comes home this week.
- Of course we see her less at this point in her life, so we treasure the times we have.
- Perhaps parents of college students or adult children can relate!
- Good thing #3. This weekend brings meaningful opportunities.
- Special worship opportunities across the world this weekend will celebrate amazing truths.
- We believe Jesus died on a cross, taking the full punishment of our sin.
- In the darkness of those hours, Jesus gave His life to serve us, paying a price we never could.
- Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
- He rose from the dead, proving His authority and giving us hope that we too can have life after death if we trust in Him.
