Truly, there is no one like our God. A few rambling thoughts:
- Isaiah 45:5: I am the LORD, and there is no other, besides me there is no God…
- Deuteronomy 4:39: know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
- Deuteronomy 32:39: See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand.
- Exodus 20:3: You shall have no other gods before me.
- Mark 12:32: And the scribe said to him, “You are right, Teacher. You have truly said that he is one, and there is no other besides him.
- I Kings 8:60: that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God; there is no other.
- John 14:6: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
- Acts 4:12: And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
- Please don’t fall victim to bringing God to our level. He reigns in heaven; He has forever and ever; He WILL forever and ever.
- I have no intention to say God cannot make Himself known. We can know Him; he’s revealed Himself through Jesus Christ (see Acts 4:12 above).
- But we cannot fully know Him; truly, there is no one like our God!
- Placing our trust in any other God but the true God of the Bible will fail us.
