Tuesday Rambling 5.5.20 – Family Rambling
A bit of family rambling in early May:
- Have you learned a bit about your family in the past couple months?
- Spending more time will allow for that opportunity.
- Has extra family time allowed for needed conversations?
- Have God conversations increased or decreased during this time for your family?
- For me, a “day by day” approach has stifled some intentionality.
- Perhaps the next few weeks will bring some forward thinking regarding specific impact and investment we could make.
- What new meals have you incorporated during this time?
- Any new routines? Games? Shows?
- Any new favorite hiking spots?
- The book of Joshua contains the famous line: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
- How has that come about during this forced opportunity?
- If you could make one growth step in home life or family communication between now and the end of May, what would it be?
- At some point we will inch toward “normal”.
- How will this time show strength, growth, openness, honesty, challenge, forgiveness, healing, etc. in our home lives?
- I hope we’ll have stories we tell the rest of our lives about what God did.
