Question: Is there anything in this article you hadn’t thought of before?
The porn addiction question is an interesting one. I just finished reading a book called “The Power of Habit”, which made me think a lot about habits and addictions. I think as Christians, the term addiction is thrown around more, because we want to be clear that it is a serious issue. Personally, I think the term “sinful habit” is more useful, because it indicates that we have personal responsibility for changing our behavior (it’s not just a sickness). But whichever words we use, I think it’s really all just semantics.
I’d agree. It’s important to take things seriously, regardless of the language you use.
