Monday Challenge 3.16.20 – Baseball Pay, Jesus Helps Doubters, Epidemic Thoughts

I don’t really want to post a blog. But I want something to feel normal.

Today I’ll share three articles that might help you feel normal, if reading is a part of your routine.

Baseball Pay

This article shows how baseball’s pay system works (or doesn’t work) for a young, star player. Or, we can call it what it is: RIPOFF!

Question: Ha. Do you even care?

Jesus Helps Doubters

Have you ever doubted God’s plans? If so, Jesus can meet you there. Perhaps helpful for these uncertain days.

Question: How does this article challenge your questions or doubts?

Epidemic Thoughts

Maybe don’t read this one if all the struggle drags you down. But the questions come from a very real place. The thoughts can help.

Question: Which question or thought resonates with you most?

Tuesday Rambling 1.16.18 – Looking Again at the Exodus

For this Tuesday, a bit of rambling about the Exodus: Yes, this story lands at the top of my favorites list. Think about the elements of what happens. God - completely sovereign in the life of a leader (Moses). God - completely sovereign over human government...

My beautiful bride, Julie, and I were married in 1999.  We are blessed to raise and shepherd three children.
Some of my hobbies are running, theology, the following baseball, and learning about the church in America in 2013.
I am passionate about the Word of God.  My faith in Jesus Christ and the resulting power of the Holy Spirit living inside me has brought me to a place in my life where I desire to look for God’s purposes in everything.  There is no other way to say it: I have been thoroughly changed by Jesus and I labor so others will live changed lives in Jesus as well.
