Tuesday Rambling 3.31.20 – Light-Hearted Rambling
The days have felt heavy. How about some light-hearted rambling?
- Have you seen the church live streaming bloopers? Click here for a few if you haven’t. My favorite is the tree falling on the drummer.
- I saw a Facebook post over the last day or two that goes something like this: post something true about yourself that sounds like it’s made up.
- Our former pastor’s wife and friend Dianne Couts had me rolling with laughter when she replied: I rode down the aisle of a church on an elephant. If you know Dianne, you know it’s true and you could see the smile on her face as she typed the comment 🙂
- For those of you switching to work at home and find yourselves using Zoom for a lot of meetings, I saw good pun about Aretha Franklin’s indecision starting a Zoom call. (Google it if you don’t get it.)
- I posted this on Facebook, but following a mini-rant on eating pie during an illustration in Sunday’s sermon, someone actually brought me a pie by Sunday afternoon. What love!
- And in case you needed any more proof cats are evil and arrogant, click here.
- We were recently talking about Lent at our house. I made the point that if you didn’t give up anything for Lent when it started, you sure would have by the time it ends!
- Have a great day everyone!

Tuesday Rambling 2.13.18 – Dear Rich American Friends
