Challenging believers in Jesus to think and act based on Bible truth.

Monday Links and Bullets 3.7.11

Lots of good stuff to get to this week.  First off . . .

LINK OF THE WEEK

Would you risk being raped for an education?

CHRISTIAN FAITH READING

Five things you can’t find in the Bible, but it would be great if you could (good read on this one).

Read this if you don’t think you’re connecting well at your church.

–Here are a smart guy’s notes for a debate about atheism.

–Good read:  how to avoid extreme beliefs.

INTERESTING MISCELLANEOUS

Sex is cheap.  This is a good article about lack of commitment.  Someone raise the bar!

–Need to translate what women are really saying – try the Manslater! (hilarious).

–A star basketball player is dead.  Unreal story.

–Interesting story about porn addictions.

–Not sure which baseball team to root for?  This flow chart is pretty funny.

BULLET THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

  • I have no more capacity for bad news.  The past three days have been truly unbearable.  It must stop.
  • Too bad the therapy people weren’t as concerned as I was about using my time on my day off (probably took 45 minutes longer than it needed to).
  • Honestly, I am really struggling with why so many things seem to be going wrong.  Searching . . . praying . . . leaning . . .
  • It’s March.  The NCAA tourney is coming and should provide a little distraction.
  • Staying faithful is an adventure.  No one ever said it would be easy!
  • I am trying to stay upbeat.  I do believe God can work in difficult situations.
  • David told me today he wanted my finger to get better so I can play “wrestling champion” with the kids again.  That would be great!
