BULLET THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

SPORTS:

  • I am thrilled the Yankees are in the playoffs.  A Detroit – NYY ALCS looks luscious, but getting by Baltimore will be no easy task.
  • Browns fans – we won’t be waiting much longer.
  • I’m picking a Nationals – Yankees World Series.
  • What’s wrong with Green Bay?

FAITH:

  • I am deeply struck at the consequence of getting salvation wrong.  It simply cannot be earned by human effort.  I praise God for His great grace and the power of the cross!
  • I am super excited about moving forward as a church to discipleship and spiritual growth.  I can’t wait to hear the stories that will come out of intentionally seeking growth!
  • Our Colossians 2 studies on Sunday night have been surprisingly challenging on a personal level.  Praying for God to get ahold of us that we might be struggling and invested in believers’ lives!

MISCELLANEOUS:

  • Really gotta quit waking up at 5:00 on Mondays.
  • Running is exciting…getting really stoked for my race next month! I’m super excited to be raising money for International Justice Mission.  More on that this week!

BLOG ANNIVERSARY GIVE-AWAY CONTEST

  • Give me one more week to decide how this year’s blog give away will look.
