Challenging believers in Jesus to think and act based on Bible truth.

Monday Challenge 12.15.14 – Newtown 2 Years Later, Christian Evolution, Why Minorities Think You’re Racist

It’s Monday. That means it’s time to be challenged. Just a handful of articles today. I’ll be back Friday with a feature on the one receiving the most clicks.

Newtown – 2 Years Later

Two years ago yesterday (Sunday 12.14) the community of Newtown, CT was devastated by a sick individual. The recording on this link is an hour long. I’ll challenge you to at least listen to the first 20 minutes to grasp the fallout from such an event.

Question: Are you able to think about the fallout from larger scale tragedies?

Many times I post articles simply because they challenge me to think. This is not one such article. This is an article that comes with a position: I agree.

Read this piece by Doug Wilson about Biologos. Their views really do present a lot of difficulties for those who don’t agree and might teach otherwise.

Question: On what do you base your view of origins?

For my white friends: Why minorities think you’re racist. I’m still thinking through much of the race issues, but this is a piece that made me think.

Question: What do you make of the world “marginalized”?

Here are some seasons when you’ll be tempted. Tim Challies with a good look at four season Satan will use to tempt you.

Question: Which would you most or least expect?
