Check this out.  Apparently, a number of my regular readers already did.  That’s why it’s the feature Friday article (most clicked from Monday’s post).

Click here for a great link about something going on right where we live in Kenmore!

A few comments:

Great stuff!

It makes me glad when God does cool stuff.  It’s good to be encouraged for others and by what others are doing.  There is really a strong sense of community where we live, and it’s joyful to encourage others.

God provides.

Yes, God provides.  The story about how this skate park came about is truly awesome.  God gets the credit.  In the photos, you see concrete countertops.  Last night at a foster parent dinner, we met one of the guys who helped pour those countertops.  Amazing!  From the financing to the labor it is outstanding how God brought this project together.

Don’t miss the mission.

First Glance’s mission is to connect students and their communities to Christ and the Church through real, loving, non-threatening avenues (yes Noelle, I typed that without looking).  This skate park is about Jesus, linking the individuals who use it to Jesus, and it’s been provided in ways that represent the body of Jesus, alive in our community!
