Here is today’s link highlight:

Would you keep running a ministry helping homosexuals find holiness in Jesus Christ when so many people hate you and question you?

Here are a few thoughts:

1.  What do you think?

No really, what do you really think about this Exodus organization?  Do you begin with a belief that homosexuals can overcome their behaviors because of something supernatural God does inside them?  Further, do you believe that the goal of having God help you overcome homosexuality is NOT heterosexuality, but holiness?

2. Did God make people this way?

If you begin with the belief that “God made people that way”, do you believe a man like Alan Chambers is for real?  There are people all throughout the U.S. and all over the world that point to the power of Jesus Christ in changing their desires from deviant sexual behavior to a satisfaction in God that no longer requires those desires.  It is not enough to point to the people who came out of the lifestyle and then went back as some sort of proof that Jesus doesn’t work or it’s just a fake.  If God made people this way, how would one answer the evidence that  Jesus transforms sexual desires, especially homosexual desires?

3. What kind of courage do you have as a believer?

Are you willing to put yourself in situation where people hate you?  To tell the truth with humility so people can experience the forgiveness Jesus offers, even though many may hate you or even want to bring you harm?  If you’re a believer in Jesus Christ, I hope you have a pulse on what God is calling you to do, where He might be calling you to live, and the courage it may take to share Christ’s love to reach people that might put you in dangerous situations.  This article has really challenge me in this way.

Have a great Friday everyone!
