Is it a big story that a Christian University hired a gay employee? This week’s most clicked article from Monday’s post doesn’t think so. It’s an interesting read. Check it out here:

Two comments:

1. What does opposition cost?

This was the best point in the article. Someone disagrees with World Vision? They pull their handful of dollars of monthly support. Disagree with Liberty? You pull your child from the university and change your child’s future. Wow – big difference.

2. It does make you wonder why there wasn’t a “freak out” response.

Regardless of what you think about the hiring, these things seem to follow a pattern. I had never heard of it until I read this blog post. I wonder why this slipped through – maybe because there wasn’t the outcry? Maybe the reason for that was #1?

Think. Does it matter that a Christian university hired a gay employee?

Act. Do you voice opposition appropriately? Are there people you think you’re not supposed to interact with because you’re a believer? Hmmm…..
